Copenhagen Accord
a nonbinding accord resulting from a 2009 climate change conference at which countries put forward national plans for reducing emissions; agreed to raise money to help developing countries both mitigate and adapt to climate change; and set long-term goals for capping the global rise in temperatures to two degrees Celsius.
